OVERCOMING PHYSICAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL PROBLEMS
Many of the problems couples encounter are not at all serious, but unless they are expressed, and unless the partners try to resolve them at once, they may accumulate and grow until they break up a union that seemed cloudless in the beginning.
Some of these problems are simply the result of inhibitions or groundless fears. Women are especially subject to this kind of problem. Some examples:
Fear of your physical appearance. You do not like to be seen naked or undress in front of your lover. You think you are too fat or too thin.
First you must convince yourself that it takes all kinds, and all kinds of taste, to make a world. Some men like curves, some like spare forms. If a man has chosen you, it’s because he likes you as you are. So don’t turn out the light to make love. Do not forget that love, especially for a man, is also a spectacle. Get used to liking your own body, including your sex organs. Look at yourself in the glass, caress yourself, including your genitals. Do it with the idea of giving yourself pleasure. If you can please yourself, you know your partner can also enjoy giving you pleasure while seeing you as you are. You must also make an effort to talk about your problem to your partner.
Communication is the best remedy for psychological problems. If this is not enough, talk to your doctor or a psychologist and you will see that things can be sorted out quickly and easily.
Some men also suffer from this kind of ungrounded fear, while others have no complex about showing themselves naked except when they have an erection. The same advice applies to them.
What has to be eliminated once and for all is the idea that you are an exhibitionist if you show yourself naked. It is only exhibitionism in front of a stranger. In the couple, exhibitionism is necessary for establishing a stimulating sexual relationship.
